As soon as they considered ready they attend proffesionall matches in smaller and than in two main rings in the city. Earnings from 400 Baht per fight to few thousands makes this youngsters breadwinners for their families back in the province. There are about 400 gyms in Bangkok and most of them accept foreigners to be trained. On the world class level Muay Thai is not any more dominated by Thai fighters. Some claim that is due to gambling, setting up matches and drugs used on the local profesional level.
